Account Executive - Technology Sales in Baltimore, MD

JOB BRIEF - Growing comprehensive technology provider is seeking an Account Executive to generate net new business for products/services in the Mid-Atlantic Region, such as:? Computer networking and IT services? Business telephone systems? Telephone and internet carrier service? Voice and data cablingSome leads and existing accounts will be provided in addition to marketing and sales support to assist candidate in effectively generating and setting new appointments. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ?? Identify prospective clients and business opportunities? Establish new relationships ? must have excellent communication skills? Qualify opportunities in a timely fashion? Assess client needs and requirements and recommend appropriate solutions? Prepare accurate quotes for smooth transitioning to project management ? Stay current on latest technology solutions? Maintain monthly quota and manage multiple opportunities simultaneouslySKILLS & EXPERIENCE? Critical-thinking skills ? must be able to think on your feet in a demanding, fast-paced environment? Prior MSP/VAR/ISP experience is strongly desired but not required. ? Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in phone/internet services (i.e. Verizon, Comcast, Windstream, XO Communications, TW Telecom, etc.) and/or business equipment (copiers, phone systems, document management, etc.) COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: ?
